Winter Wedding Invitations

I know that the title "Winter Wedding Invitations" sounds crazy, since it's nearly July, but with six weddings coming up this summer/fall, weddings have been on my brain lately. I had a summer wedding and I don't think I've ever been to a winter wedding, so when Basic Invite reached about collaborating for a post, I thought sharing some beautiful winter wedding invitations was a fun idea. If you're planning a winter wedding, you're probably thinking about invitations right about now, so this is perfect timing for you. And for those of us not planning a wedding, maybe talking about winter weddings will cool us off a little, since it's supposed to be in the upper 90s in Michigan this weekend. Yikes!

Anyway, after browsing Basic Invite's site, here are some things I found that I loved:

First, Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print, as well as the paper quality, before they ever have to place their final order.

How pretty is this Holiday Bough Wedding Invitation? You can even customize the colors if you want to change them.
This Glamorous Confetti Wedding Invitation would be super cute for a New Year's wedding! The gold dots make me think of dancing, drinks, and good times. Sounds perfect for a wedding.

My personal favorite for a winter wedding is this Pretty Pinecones Invitation. Simple, but it plays on the winter theme without over doing it. I love the white with the brown pinecones and tan background.

Basic Invite has over 800 wedding invitations sets. You can find everything from save the dates to wedding invitations and enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs, and matching thank you cards. So the three invitations that I shared above all have matching pieces that go with them. Being able to get all of those items in one place would be so nice. You only have to coordinate with one site, not multiple different sites or printers.

If you are planning a wedding, be sure to check out Basic Invite to see if they have the perfect invitation for you!

*I have not used Basic Invite's products, but this post is written by me. I was compensated for this post.*

Bumpdate: 24 Weeks

How many weeks: 24
Symptoms: Sleep is getting a little tougher. Besides waking a couple times a night to go to the bathroom, I'm having trouble falling asleep sometimes. I guess pregnancy insomnia is a real thing.
We had a couple of weekends when it got super hot (in the 90s) and I was outside, on my feet all day. By the end of the day, my feet and ankles were pretty swollen. Luckily that only happened the one day.
I'm feeling a lot more movement and it's easier for Kevin to feel it too. Sometimes you can even see little kicks from the outside. Especially when I lay down for bed at night, she goes crazy!
Baby Bump: Definitely getting bigger. And my belly button is getting much shallower.
Food Cravings/Aversions: None.
What else is going on: I'm continuing to clean out our office so we can make it a nursery. Hoping to work on it more this weekend.
I started buying some cute girl shoes and clothes. Not a ton, just a few things I couldn't resist. Baby shoes are seriously the cutest.
Can't believe we are 6 months in already! This pregnancy is flying by. Hoping the last 3-4 months continue to be just as smooth as these first 6 have been.

My sister and her fiance got me tickets to see Kane Brown and Chris Young this past weekend, which was really fun. It was my 8th concert since being pregnant, and I'm realizing concerts are getting harder to attend the further along I get because I get uncomfortable quicker than normal. But it was still a great concert. Chris Young is one of my favorites!

Bumpdate: 22 Weeks

How many weeks: 22
Symptoms: Starting to get some back/leg pain, but nothing too bad. Picked up this Boppy Body Pillow this week to help with sleep - it's amazing! Makes a big difference when trying to get comfortable at night.
Baby Bump: Still growing!
Food Cravings/Aversions: None.
What else is going on: We found out the gender! You can see our "reveal" here. We didn't do a party or anything, we just told our family and friends and then about a week later we posted on social media. So excited for this little lady to join us in October!

I attended Birthday Bash this past weekend and had a great time. Birthday Bash is a country concert the local radio station puts on every year. It was a completely different set up this time, but it was great for this pregnant lady. Later start time, cooler temps, and great music.

Still slowly working on cleaning out our office, which will be the nursery. Hoping to get a lot more accomplished in there over the next couple of weeks.

And just for fun, a pic every two weeks, starting at week 12 through week 22:
