Weekend Recap

I was so glad we were able to enjoy some gorgeous weather this weekend, and I hope you did too!

FRIDAY:  Friday night Kevin and I went to a Whitecaps baseball game with my parents.  It was a perfect night and we were able to enjoy some baseball, ballpark food (I had fried mac n cheese bites), beer, and family.  After the game we headed to our friend Kaleena's house to enjoy a bon fire with some of our friends.

SATURDAY:  I got up super early to head downtown for the Fifth-Third River Bank Run.  My friend Kaleena and I were running the 5k and our race started at 7:00 a.m.  I ran a little better than I expected, considering I didn't really train.  I still haven't looked up my time, but I felt good about how I did.  After the race I headed to the grocery store and then Kevin and I went to a local greenhouse to get some flowers.  We spent the rest of the afternoon planting flowers and cleaning up the yard a little.  Saturday night we enjoyed some yummy pizza and breadsticks and caught up on the DVR.  I headed to bed early because I was tired from the long day.

SUNDAY:  Sunday was Mother's Day, so we headed to our hometown to visit with all of the "mothers" in our lives.  We took Kevin's mom to lunch and then went and visited both of his grandmas.  Then we headed over to my grandma's and then to my parents.  After spending the day with our moms and grandmas, we headed back home and sat out on the deck for a little bit to enjoy the last bit of nice weather.

I hope you had a great weekend...now it's back to the grind!
