5 on Friday

I'm loving this 5 on Friday link up...it's becoming a regular thing around here!

ONE.  I'm guest posting today over at Belle in Boots while Meredith is off on her honeymoon!  Go check out my post (here) about things that could go wrong on your wedding day...because they happened to me.

TWO.  Speaking of weddings, one of best friends from high school is getting married tomorrow!  I can't wait to celebrate with her and her soon-to-be husband.  I'm also excited to see some friends from high school that I haven't seen in a while.

Melissa (soon-to-be newlywed), me, Chelsea, and Allison
THREE.  I finally showed our fall decorations.  I'm hoping maybe this weekend we can get some pumpkins and a mum to add to our front steps.  I also need to start buying Halloween candy for all of the trick-or-treaters we get.

FOUR.  Speaking of fall, we have SO MANY leaves in our yard already.  Time to start picking them up!  This year we at least have a leaf blower to make it a little easier.  But we have to bag them all up and go dump them at our local disposal area.  We can't just pile them on the curb like some places can (there is a big truck that would come by and suck up the piles).  And I can't just dump them in the woods like my parents, because we don't have any woods!  Any tips for making this process easier?

FIVE.  I leave on Tuesday for Tennessee to visit my sister!  I'm pretty excited for this mini vacation.  We're planning a day or two in Nashville--I've never been there.  Any places we should visit while we are there?

Hope you have a great weekend!

  4. That's such a bummer that you can't bag up your leaves and put them on the curb. We're really bad about raking!

I've never been to Nashville either. Have a great time!

  5. I need to start buying Halloween candy for trick or treaters too! We don't have woods or curb pick up for leaves either. When we first moved into our house we took them to our parent's woods. Now that we have a truck, we drive them to the local land fill which has a free drop off.
