Admiral's Favorite Things - Part 2

About a month ago I shared some of Admiral's favorite things and I'm linking up with Adriana from Dog Hair is an Accessory to share Admiral's Favorite Things Part 2!

Admiral LOVES to cuddle.  He hasn't always loved to cuddle.  I used to try so hard to get him to cuddle in bed with me at night, and he would lay there for about 2 minutes and then go sleep on the floor.  But ever since we moved in to our house, he has LOVED sleeping in the bed with us and cuddling.

This is not a posed picture...they were literally sleeping in bed like this.

Cuddling with my Dad.

Sticks are another one of Admiral's favorite things.  He doesn't eat them (usually).  He likes to run around with one in his mouth, hoping someone will chase him.  And he likes to shred them. He loves ripping the bark off the stick, and then ripping the stick in to little tiny pieces that he leaves all over the yard.  And as you can see, the bigger the stick, the better.

Tennis Balls.  Admiral loves tennis balls and playing fetch.  He would play fetch all day if you let him.  He is not allowed to have tennis balls in the house any more, because he just kicks them under the couch and then stares at you until you get it out for him.  And then he kicks it under again...and the cycle continues.  So we said the tennis balls have to stay outside.  So he knows when we grab the chuck it, it's time to play fetch!

Does your pet share some of these favorite things?  Do they have other things that they love?

5 on Friday

Yay! My first REAL 5 on Friday link up :)

THE GOOD LIFE BLOG

1.  Today is my first time guest posting!  I'm over at According to Jax today sharing what I learned about all the last minute wedding planning...so go check it out!

2. Saturday is our second-annual live Fantasy Football draft--wish me luck!  Our league has a traveling trophy, so the winner keeps it in their house for the year.  My husband won last year and constantly points to the trophy to remind me that he won....I think it's time to turn the tables.

3.  I still need to decide which wedding pictures to get printed to hang up in our house.  I just can't decide!  I've been saving the beach pictures to show in a couple weeks on "Wedding Wednesday," but here's a sneak peak of one of my many favorites!

4.  I can't decide if I'm excited for fall yet or not...I feel like the summer went way too quickly (I'm sure I say that every year).  But I do love fall and everything that comes with it!  Fall decorations, boots, and FOOTBALL.  We're going to a Lions game in October and I'm pretty excited!

5.  Anyone have any suggestions on how to style short hair?  I got my hair cut about two weeks ago, and I style it exactly the same way every day.  I realize I have less options now, but I would like to do something different every once in a while...so any of you with short hair have any tips for me?  Maybe some cute headbands?

TGIF!  Have a great weekend!

Wedding Wednesday: The Ceremony

You can catch up on all of my wedding posts here.

When 3:30 p.m. rolled around, we were ready for the wedding ceremony to begin.  The church was decorated and we were ready!

We had several songs that we had playing while guests were seated and waiting.  All the songs we used were acoustic songs (no words).  We just downloaded the songs on iTunes and burned CDs that were played by the sound people at the church.

The bridal party walked down the aisle to an acoustic version of "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars.  I walked down to an acoustic version of "Here Comes the Bride," and our recessional was an acoustic version of "Wedding March: Recessional."

While we poured our unity sand, Kevin's cousin Phil played his French Horn and Kevin's Aunt Dennese played the piano.  They played "I'll Be (the Greatest Fan of Your Life)" by Edwin McCain and it was so beautiful.  It's something we'll never forget and we were so glad they were a part of our wedding day.

After the wedding, we did some pictures in the church with our families and the wedding party.

After the pictures in the church, we got on the trolley and headed to the beach for more pictures before the reception.  The beach pictures turned out amazing and are my favorite!!  I'll be sharing those in a couple of weeks.  Next week I'll share the reception and then all of my favorite pictures.
